If you bought an eligible digital edition of GTA 6 from PlayStation Store, open the GTA+ product page with the same PlayStation account and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction at no extra cost. You must preorder or purchase the game on or before November 19, 2026, then claim the month by March 31, 2027.

The offer works for new, lapsed, and existing GTA+ subscribers. Existing members can add the promotional month to their current subscription. The important limitation is that GTA+ becomes a regularly billed monthly subscription after the free period unless you cancel it before the next payment date.

Do not treat every GTA 6 purchase as eligible. The documented PlayStation offer is for digital Standard or Ultimate Edition purchases. The separately sold Ultimate Edition Upgrade does not qualify, and the physical code-in-box edition has a different bonus package.

Check Your Purchase Before Claiming

The Spanish panel lists one GTA+ month. Its regional price and offer do not guarantee eligibility on another account; this is a purchase panel, not the claim screen.

Although players commonly call this a preorder bonus, the PlayStation terms also cover an eligible digital purchase made on release day. The qualifying transaction must be completed on or before November 19, 2026. Rockstar describes the same cutoff as a digital purchase made prior to November 20.

The edition is not the only condition. You must meet the age requirements for both GTA 6 and GTA+, and the promotion must be available through your PlayStation Country Store. Published exclusions include Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, and the Russian Federation. That list does not guarantee eligibility in every other country. If you use a Taiwan account, confirm that the current account-specific store offer is available before buying for the bonus.

Before proceeding, verify three things in your purchase history: the order is the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition, the transaction date is within the qualifying period, and you are signed in to the account that placed the order. These checks prevent most account and edition mistakes.

Claim the Free Month on PlayStation

The official PlayStation process is account based and takes place through PlayStation Store. It does not require a separate in-game mission or the launch of GTA 6.

1. Sign in with the PlayStation account used to preorder or purchase the eligible digital edition of GTA 6.
2. Check the purchase confirmation email. PlayStation states that this email includes GTA+ redemption instructions.
3. Open the GTA+ product page in PlayStation Store after the GTA 6 order has been completed.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions for the promotional month.
5. Confirm that the transaction is being completed at no extra cost before accepting it.
6. Read the displayed continuation date. The store will show when the free month changes into a paid monthly subscription.
7. Save the transaction confirmation so you have a record of the account, date, and successful claim.

Do not assume the bonus is a transferable voucher. The official terms describe it as a non-transferable offer that can only be claimed on the account used for the eligible GTA 6 purchase. Buying the game again does not create another redemption on the same account.

The claim transaction and the GTA 6 download are separate tasks. Preloading GTA 6, installing it, or waiting for its November 19 release is not listed as part of the PlayStation redemption path. The relevant steps are completing the eligible store purchase and then claiming the promotional GTA+ month from its product page.

Choose When to Activate It

You do not have to claim the promotional month immediately after buying GTA 6. New, lapsed, and existing subscribers may claim it at a time of their choosing, provided they finish the claim by March 31, 2027.

That creates two distinct deadlines:

• Purchase deadline: Complete the eligible digital GTA 6 purchase on or before November 19, 2026.
• Claim deadline: Redeem the free GTA+ month no later than March 31, 2027.

Meeting the purchase deadline does not remove the later claim deadline. An eligible order left unclaimed after March 31, 2027 is outside the documented redemption window.

Choose the activation date based on when you can use GTA+ benefits in GTA Online, not on speculation about an unannounced GTA VI online mode. GTA VI is currently confirmed as a single-player experience, while Rockstar has not announced its plans for a GTA VI online product. The free month therefore should not be treated as evidence of an online launch date for GTA 6.

Before confirming the claim, note the exact billing date shown by PlayStation. A calendar reminder set several days before that date is safer than relying on a general estimate of when one month has passed.

Account, Region, and Subscriber Rules

The promotion supports all three common subscriber states:

• New subscriber: You can claim the promotional month even if you have never subscribed to GTA+.
• Lapsed subscriber: A previous membership that has ended does not prevent you from claiming the offer.
• Existing subscriber: The promotional month is added to the current subscription after you claim it.

The existing-subscriber rule is a specific exception. GTA+ stacking is not ordinarily supported through PlayStation Store, but this GTA 6 promotion allows the free month to be added to an active membership.

The account restriction is strict. The promotion is limited to one redemption per account, regardless of how many additional eligible copies that account purchases. It cannot be transferred to a family member, a second PlayStation account, or another buyer.

The country-store rule also concerns the purchasing account. If the account belongs to an excluded PlayStation Country Store, buying through a different region is not a safe workaround. Region mismatches can also create activation problems for GTA 6 codes because PlayStation game-code restrictions follow the region associated with the platform account.

For a clean claim, keep the GTA 6 order, GTA+ redemption, and future subscription management on the same eligible PlayStation account.

Physical Copies and Other Bonuses

The physical GTA 6 package can cause confusion because it contains a digital download code rather than a disc. It is still treated as the physical version in Rockstar's edition details, and its listed preorder contents differ from the eligible digital-store offer.

A physical preorder contains one code for the GTA 6 digital download and the Vintage Vice City Pack. That pack includes the ’55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern. The physical package does not list the complimentary GTA+ month.

Digital preorders and eligible digital purchases include both the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. This means the free membership is not a replacement for the Vintage Vice City Pack on an eligible digital order; the digital offer contains both.

Physical Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade after redeeming their game code. However, purchasing that upgrade does not make the order eligible for the free GTA+ promotion. The PlayStation terms explicitly exclude the Ultimate Edition Upgrade from the offer.

The physical box is expected to be available for shipping or pickup starting November 12, 2026, and its code can support preloading. Neither receiving the physical code nor using it for preload changes the promotional contents assigned to the physical edition.

What the Free Month Gives You

GTA+ is a membership for GTA Online players. Its benefits can change over time, so check the current membership screen before choosing when to activate the promotional month.

The documented membership benefits include a GTA$500,000 deposit per billing cycle, rotating monthly benefits, selected discounts, bonus rewards for some missions and activities, access to The Vinewood Club facilities, and a rotating library of Rockstar titles. The service is available for supported versions on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced, but access to games in its library is limited to the platform where the active membership is held.

Those general platform options do not make the PlayStation promotional claim transferable. A free month obtained through the PlayStation GTA 6 offer remains attached to the PlayStation account that made the qualifying purchase.

Do not choose an activation date solely around one specific vehicle, discount, game, or rotating reward unless it is still shown on the current GTA+ benefits page. Membership benefits and subscription terms are subject to change.

Stop the Paid Renewal

The free month is not a non-renewing trial. After the promotional period, the membership continues monthly at the regular monthly price until canceled.

When you complete the claim, PlayStation displays the date on which the free month will continue as a paid subscription. Record that date immediately. If you only want the included month, open Subscription Management in your account settings and cancel before the next payment date.

Canceling GTA+ stops future renewal; access continues until the end of the current billing period under the general membership terms. Check the subscription status after canceling and keep the confirmation. The useful status is a canceled renewal with a clearly displayed end date, not simply removing a stored payment method.

Avoid relying on an assumed 30-day countdown. Existing subscribers receive the promotional month as an extension of their current subscription, so their next payment date may not be one month after the day they claim the offer. The date shown in the account is the relevant deadline.

Fix Common Claim Problems

If the offer is missing or does not complete at no extra cost, stop before paying for a normal GTA+ month. Work through these checks in order:

1. Confirm the GTA 6 transaction. Make sure the order was completed rather than left pending, canceled, or refunded.
2. Confirm the edition. The qualifying purchase must be the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition, not only the Ultimate Edition Upgrade.
3. Confirm the purchase date. The eligible digital purchase must have been completed on or before November 19, 2026.
4. Confirm the account. Sign in with the exact PlayStation account used for the GTA 6 purchase. The offer cannot be moved between accounts.
5. Confirm the store region. Check that the account belongs to a participating PlayStation Country Store.

If the page shows a normal paid price rather than a promotional transaction, do not confirm it unless you intentionally want to buy a separate membership. The claim process should complete at no extra cost.

Xbox and PC Boundaries

Rockstar's edition information lists one month of GTA+ with eligible digital GTA 6 preorders and purchases, and GTA 6 is available for preorder on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The detailed claim steps and March 31, 2027 deadline apply specifically to the published PlayStation Store offer.

Do not copy the PlayStation workflow or deadline onto an Xbox purchase without checking the Xbox transaction's own offer terms and confirmation. Check the Xbox offer for its own claim page, redemption period, and troubleshooting process.

GTA 6 has no officially confirmed PC release date as of October 28, 2026. GTA+ being generally available for GTAV Enhanced on PC does not make a console GTA 6 promotional month transferable to PC. For the documented PlayStation offer, the membership is tied to the account used for the PlayStation Store purchase.

These boundaries matter because three separate things are often mixed together: the platform used to buy GTA 6, the platform account receiving the promotional membership, and the supported version used to access GTA+ benefits. Treat the terms attached to the original transaction as authoritative for that purchase.

Final Claim Checklist

Before completing the PlayStation claim, verify every item below:

• The purchase is the digital GTA 6 Standard or Ultimate Edition.
• It was purchased from PlayStation Store on or before November 19, 2026.
• You are using the same PlayStation account that placed the order.
• The account meets the age and participating-country requirements.
• The offer has not already been redeemed on that account.
• The GTA+ transaction shows no extra cost.
• The claim is being completed by March 31, 2027.
• You have recorded the next payment date displayed during checkout.
• You will cancel through Subscription Management before that date if you do not want a paid renewal.
